What does Carefree do?

We sell, lease and service laser printers, plotters and multifunction systems that copy, print, scan and fax. We also sell supplies (toner, etc) that these devices use.

How soon can you come to my office for service?

For MFP and certain contract clients, we have a 4-hour onsite response committment for emergency service. For non-contract clients, we will do our best to have a technician in your office tomorrow if you schedule with us today.

Do you offer Service Contracts?

Yes! For full information, click on the "Service Agreements" tab on the top of this page. Ask to talk to a contract specialist for a custom quote.

Do you service inkjet printers? (i.e, keywords are Deskjet, Bubblejet).

The only ‘inkjet' devices we service ONSITE are business-class Designjet printers (also known as Plotters or wide-format printers). Please call for details.

Do you charge for mileage from your service center or do you charge a trip fee?


Do you perform preventive maintenance during a break/fix service call?

Oh yes we do. Every time we touch a device we thoroughly clean and inspect the unit. That's included for no extra charge.

Are you Manufacturer Authorized?

Yes, we are authorized to perform service for Hewlett-Packard & Xerox printers and multifunction devices. In addition to these credentials we are QUALIFIED to service most other brands.

How long have you been in business?

Carefree has been in business since 1995! That's a long time in the ever changing document imaging business!

Is my printer worth repairing?

It depends. If you could replace it with a new device for less than $200 then maybe you should go that route. But most business-class laser printers cost much more than that. And often, we can repair a device for as little as the cost of an hour labor charge if it doesn't need any parts.

What is your warranty for repairs?

We have an industry best 90 day parts and labor warranty.

Just wanted to take a quick moment and let you know what a great operation you have going over there.
