The Best Movie for Families (and especially Fathers) is at theatres now- It's called "COURAGEOUS" and I highly recommend it for the whole family (maybe 8 and older). But hurry, because it likley won't be at theaters long as all good spiritually-based films seem to have short showings these days (think "Soul Surfer"). Plenty of cop excitement for the teenage boys (mine are 14 and 17 and they loved it) and lots for the girls and moms to like too. A real Life-Changer movie! Rated PG.
