HP Printer Support: Avoiding a Printer Service Call for Paper Jams- One of the most common HP printer problems in the popular Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 4200, 4300, 4250, 4350, P4015, P4515, and the P3005 series of printers is that the adjustable guides in the paper trays are not set correctly for the size of paper being used. If the paper is not getting pulled up and out of the paper tray and into the printer, then this is most likely your problem. You need to check and set both the side & the rear guides to match the paper size that you're using. Pull out all of the paper and look at the bottom of the tray to examine the adjustable guides to make sure they are in the correct position for your paper. If you still have paper input jams after following this advice, give us a call or send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
